Hello! My name is Suzanna — welcome to my blog!
A few summers ago I packed up my car (and I mean packed, that sucker was full) and moved across the country to begin my journey as a secondary ELA teacher.
Since then, I’ve moved schools, adopted a dog, fallen in love (with the dog & with a really great guy I’m lucky enough to call my “fiancé”), moved around, purchased a home, added more degrees, and confirmed that this career is definitely where I’m meant to be.
I’m on year seven and boy-oh-boy do I have stories to share. Join me for the good, the bad, the funny, the tiring, the new, the challenging, and everything in between. This is: Confessions From My Classroom.
About Me

Hi, I’m Suzanna! I’m a North Dakota girl who packed up and moved south for some big city livin’ and some ELA teachin’. I love Jesus, my Cricut, coffee (read “creamer”), reading, teaching, singing, and so much more. I’m excited to share more about myself and my journey.
